File / 01 / Three Gates

Three audiences. Three problems. One operator.

Pick the gate that matches your need. The work underneath is the same discipline, applied to different stakes.

Gate 01 / Governance

Digital literacy at the board table. The black box, opened.

Most boards know they need to govern AI and digital risk. Few know what good looks like. I translate technical complexity into the questions a director must ask, and the controls a chair must see.

  • Oversight of $20M+ business cases through investment committees
  • Chairing selection committees for enterprise technology procurement
  • Customer identity verification and digital trust frameworks
  • AI assurance and model risk literacy for non-technical directors
File / 02 / Foundation

Where the rigour comes from.

I work in the seam between two disciplines that rarely speak the same language. On one side, the structured rigour of regulated practice. On the other, the high-speed iteration of digital and AI delivery.

I previously practised as a lawyer. That training is the source of the risk-aware discipline that runs through every programme I lead. It is not a banner I wave. It is why the controls are right, why the assurance holds and why the boards I sit with sleep at night.

Since then I have led national digital programmes, built ventures from problem to product, and stood up advisory practices in regions where there was nothing but opportunity and ambiguity. The throughline is the same. Read the system. Find the traps. Move with intent.

The brief I am usually handed is the one that has already been to two firms and a taskforce. The one where someone needs to be the safe pair of hands, quickly.

File / 03 / Interventions

Selected interventions. The trap, the move, the result.

Three case files. Each one shows the trap an inexperienced operator would have walked into, and the move that avoided it.

Case / 01Public sector / digital identity

NSW Digital Driver Licence

Problem

An Australian-first programme with no precedent, high public scrutiny and zero tolerance for identity failure.

Intervention

Built the delivery spine across product, legal, identity assurance and operations. Set the assurance bar before the build, not after the breach.

Result

National-first launch. Millions of credentials issued. A reusable pattern other jurisdictions now follow.

Trap avoidedTreating identity as a UX problem rather than a trust system.
Case / 02Venture / AI product

LeapForward AI

Problem

Early-stage AI venture with strong thesis but no product surface that could be sold, priced or defended.

Intervention

Took the Chief Product Officer seat. Sharpened the wedge, cut the roadmap by half, and aligned the seed narrative to a buyer who actually exists.

Result

$1M seed offer secured. A product story investors and customers tell back to you in the same words.

Trap avoidedBuilding for the demo rather than the renewal.
Case / 03Enterprise / platform expansion

NCR Professional Services, APAC

Problem

A global platform business with no regional services arm and no margin discipline on delivery.

Intervention

Stood up the practice end to end. Hiring, pricing, partner model, governance and the unglamorous parts that decide whether the P&L survives year two.

Result

A profitable services line and a delivery model that did not depend on heroics.

Trap avoidedConfusing pipeline with revenue.
File / 04 / Foresight Labs

Active practitioner. Hands on the tools.

I do not advise on systems I have not built. Foresight Labs is where the working artefacts live. Some are pipelines. Some are agent stacks. Some are sensors on real assets in the field.

LAB.01V.10.0

Daily Macro Foresight Engine

A daily-run pipeline that ingests macro signals and produces decision-grade briefs. Built for operators, not analysts.

LAB.02in production

Agentic AI Workflows

Multi-step agent systems wired into real business processes. Guardrails first. Autonomy where it earns its keep.

LAB.03field trial

Structural Health Monitoring

Sensor and inference work across maritime and timber assets. Where the physical world meets the model.
