I work in the seam between two disciplines that rarely speak the same language. On one side, the structured rigour of regulated practice. On the other, the high-speed iteration of digital and AI delivery.
I previously practised as a lawyer. That training is the source of the risk-aware discipline that runs through every programme I lead. It is not a banner I wave. It is why the controls are right, why the assurance holds and why the boards I sit with sleep at night.
Since then I have led national digital programmes, built ventures from problem to product, and stood up advisory practices in regions where there was nothing but opportunity and ambiguity. The throughline is the same. Read the system. Find the traps. Move with intent.
The brief I am usually handed is the one that has already been to two firms and a taskforce. The one where someone needs to be the safe pair of hands, quickly.
