It is hard to disagree with the line of logic here.

"Ethics" are not a universal construct - ethical considerations change contextually (as anyone who has grappled with the 'Trolley Problem' would acknowledge), and that is before you factor in cultural and 'geographical' considerations (Eastern v. Western thinking etc.).
