A nice visualisation of the ‘waves’ of panic that emerged as new technologies (from books to microwaves to TVs) arrived and changed society - though not in the way many expected.

It will be interesting to revisit, in the coming decades, the current dour views of AI/automation - what did we get right, and what did we get wrong.
