This sounds like a monumental breakthrough, but I am naturally skeptical.

While the concept sounds straightforward - using AI/NLP to convert plain language descriptions into executable code - I suspect this will still require the user to be able to 'think like a programmer' for the foreseeable future.

Having being involved in developing "chatbots" designed to respond to plain language questions with pre-authored content blocks (even combining blocks where appropriate), the biggest challenge was trying to anticipate how a broad audience would structure and word their questions/thinking.

What makes no sense to me makes perfect sense to many others, and vice versa. This is a core challenge of "artificial general intelligence", and will be an anchor on these types of solutions.
