Instinct invite - main feed post (longer version)
I have no affiliation with this start-up - I’m sharing it because I genuinely think the product is interesting.
I’ve been using an AI assistant called Instinct, and it’s the first of many I’ve tried that has actually become part of my day-to-day.
It works through iMessage, WhatsApp and email, so you interact with it much like you would a person. Unlike other agents I’ve tried, I didn’t have to configure email or SMS access through a collection of third-party integrations.
Mine sends me a global news brief each morning, handles research and drafting, manages my inbox, books things, and keeps watch on things I’d otherwise have to remember to check.
I have shared my location and it tells me if there are any impacts on my commute (granted that required an API service from my local transport agency)
The memory and recall are particularly impressive. It also makes proactive suggestions based on what it knows about me and what I’ve asked it to do. Some are intuitive. Others have genuinely caught me off guard.
That’s what makes it feel less like another app and more like delegating to someone who actually follows through. Set it up once and let it run.
It’s currently invite-only and free during early access.
